What will be in the blank parts running across the fish?
The blank parts will be where the fish is underwater (or at least water is flowing over the fish). So, you will have scales, but they will be lighter and probably murkier/obscured somehow. That's all left, really. My tattooer wants the dark parts to heal for two weeks so he knows exactly what shade he is working with/against for those parts.
