I can't tell for sure, but this seems to be a stencil-sticker combination. Small, elegant, and alone, it reminds me of the Peanuts gang for some reason.
How did that whole ‘Gothic year’ turn out?

It's lovely - it actually makes me think of the musical The Music Man...
I think I found a few stencils of my own. It's too cold to photograph them now (and would require standing in 3ft deep snow), but I'll try to get a picture if the spring thaw ever comes. They aren't anywhere as interesting as the ones you find, but I am just impressed that I was able to stumble upon them.
